Starting today, our Free tier users will now receive 25 AI Smart Rewrites per month. This means you can use Makro's intelligent text rewriting features - like rephrasing, shortening, or formalizing your text - directly through our cloud-based AI, at no cost. This is in addition to unlimited macros and expansions, and 50 OCR extractions per month using our private AI.

Pro Plan: Even More Rewrites

For those who rely on AI-powered text refinement even more heavily, we've also increased our Pro plan. Pro users will now get 500 AI Smart Rewrites per month. This increase, combined with features like cloud sync and clipboard history, adds real value for professionals and power users.

Our Premium plan remains the choice for users who need it all. With unlimited OCR capabilities and advanced AI features, Premium users can handle any text manipulation task. It remains the best deal for those who require the most extensive AI and OCR power.

All AI processing is either local via Ollama or securely proxied through Makro's own servers, protecting your data privacy. Makro offers zero-knowledge encryption, meaning we cannot read your macros, even with cloud sync enabled.
